NSU Educational Philosophy

Educational PhilosophyIn recent times, our rapidly aging society with its low birthrate and the continual progress of medical technology have become the focus of public health awareness.

This has brought about important changes in the fields of medicine and social welfare. Quality of life has become a major issue, and it is no longer sufficient from the standpoint of personal or regional concerns to consider infant, disabled, and elderly care as academically separate fields.

The Faculty of Nursing, Social Welfare, and Psychology was created with this in mind.

By bringing these three fields together, we create more opportunities for interdisciplinary study, and develop the ability to use knowledge and skills from all of these fields to solve problems that involve more than just one discipline.
