NSU is equipped with training rooms and equipment specialized for fundamental nursing training, regional nursing training, training in nursing adults and the elderly, and maternity nursing and midwifery training. Multipurpose and health science training facilities are also available. All of the equipment is state of the art. The Department of Social Welfare and Psychology also uses these training facilities for care worker and clinical psychology training.

lthough there may be exceptions for different training programs, students primarily receive their second to fourth year hospital training at Niigata City General Hospital.
